We’re pleased to announce Matt Mangus has agreed to sing with Traffic Opera. Matt’s an import from Lancaster. He’s a student at PSU Berks where he studies Kinesiology. He plans to pursue further education focusing on physical therapy. Previously, he has briefly attended Elizabethtown College pursuing Music. He currently studies with Tammy Black and has studied with Phyllis Drackley in the past. He performed with Berks Opera choruses in Faust, Aida, and Othello as well as the role of Wallace in “The Life and Times of Wallace Stevens.”
In the Berks Opera/ Reading Theater Project co-production of “DaPonte,” he sang the roles for Bishop DaPonte and Mozart.
Matt will be performing the role of Parpignol in Capitol Harrisburg Opera’s production of La Boheme and is preparing for his junior recital in Lancaster, PA.
